I am so excited to be adding all new vineyards this year with my tours of Central and Southeren Italy. I will be traveling with a wine importer and talented musicians. Did I mention I love my job. This year I will be featuring Italian and American musicians on our tours. This idea came to me when I was traveling in an area of Italy called Le Marche. My husband and I were on our 30th wedding anniversary . Since touring Italy for the past 20 years, I thought it would be wonderful to experience somewhere we both had not been. Le Marche does not disappoint. The vineyard was more that I expected. The swimming pool is in the shape of a wine bottle. The structures on the grounds were replicas of Renaissance Architecture. It was simply beautiful!
There are many music festivals in Italy during the summer. They all seem to be in the town piazza's or in a theater. I found that being on a vineyard and tasting the wines with wonderful meals the only thing missing was music.Since music is a universal language everyone would understand it. I am planning to start this in March of 2015. I am not sure how it will turn out. Ionian Jewel Tours loves to have theme tours. That is what makes your tours fun!. This is not just limited to one vineyard. I also intend to bring my tours to Umbira to Cantina Chiorri where family, hospitality and of course Vino meraviglioso!!! Here is a preview of the tour.
